Yes, there is a difference between semi-playback and playback. Playback refers to a performance where the music and vocals are pre-recorded and the artist lip-syncs or mimics playing instruments. Semi-playback, on the other hand, involves a combination of live singing and pre-recorded music. In semi-playback, the artist may sing live while the backing vocals or certain instrumental parts are pre-recorded. Both techniques are commonly used in live performances, but semi-playback allows for more flexibility and authenticity in the live performance. **
