Both types of gloves serve their purpose in their respective disciplines, so the preference would depend on the specific training or competition needs. **

MMA gloves are generally considered to be harder than boxing gloves. The choice between boxing gloves and MMA gloves depends on the specific purpose and type of training or competition. On the other hand, MMA gloves are lighter and offer more dexterity, making them suitable for mixed martial arts training and competitions where grappling and striking are involved. It is important to consider the rules and regulations of the sport being practiced when deciding which type of gloves to use. **
